Is there a glass cutting tool that works well on vintage glass panes? - glass cutting tools

I have tried to cut glass with a variety of ancient glass hardware, cutting tools for many years with little success. Wrong Tool? No experience? I do not know. Now I have an old house in 1920 and a series of wavy antique glass and cut to suit. Is it possible, or a tool such as a new species, would they work? Thank you!
