What to expect at OBY-GYN's appointment? - oby/gyn doctor in pasadena
In one week, I'm pregnant 6 months =) I go every month to my GP for a review, all is well so far.
I have my first date with the work of my doctors (OB / GYN) on Friday. What can I expect from my first visit? I do not know what I'm preparing for appointmet, I need to bring anything with me? I'm nervous.
What is your experience (s) was? As OB / GYN doctor to do during your visit?
Thank you! = D

I saw a gynecologist every visit during my pregnancy. I never saw my family doc for a regular screening appointments. With each visit to the gynecologist is fairly conventional, sometimes I feel almost like a size to leave for work, drive and pay no charge for 10 minutes on a quick check. Normally, you only weigh, measure your stomach and hear the heartbeat. I would still recommend these dates, but not be really surprised if they did not do much to make each visit. The first might be a little more time because you are a new patient .. several questions for you and your commands. You have an appointment for the ultrasound, and another to test for diabetes, you have to drink this liquid that is repulsive, then have blooddrawn. Instead, they did not do much when there is a problem. Normally come once a month, while closer you get to go twice a month, every week until delivery. Make sure a birth plan with your gynecologist so that things to talk about how you want to do it. Good luck!
It is likely to things like you did not do your family doctor. You can hear the heartbeat of the baby to urinate into a cup to carry your weight, the measurements of the stomach, if you show that is starting and all that. It will ask whether common sense and take your vitamins, and ask if you have any concerns. That is all. No reason to be nervous. When you come to an end soon, they will begin checking the cervix, the fingers to see if your expanded.
Probably not much different, usually the weight, the measurements at the abdomen, ask if you have any questions, and if it is felt contractions when the baby moves when your fatigue and all the information for the hospital. Normal routine Pretty Things ..
